Professional Background & Philosophy: Before my career choice of behaviors and counseling, I was studying law in which I received my Paralegal degree from Metropolitan Community College in 2006. While at MCC, I was an editor for the Metropolitan; an academic and literacy writings publication. I also participated in the Douglas County Domestic Abuse court watch program. After graduation, I decided that I wanted to make a difference in the lives of people suffering and in the dark due to emotional/mental and or addiction obstacles. I feel privileged to be in the counseling field, so that I can help others who struggle with various issues. I have worked with families, couples and individuals needing help with depression, intimacy, substance abuse, sexual abuse survivors, anxiety and pregnancy counseling. I practice a nonjudgmental stance and I am here to help you! I work with ages over 12 years old. I am working for my client’s well-being and giving them the tools to live out their emotional and mental dreams of clearer thoughts, sobriety and happier days. |
Education: I received my Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Bellevue University in 2009 and my Master of Science in Clinical Counseling in 2012, as well as my Master of Science in Leadership and Executive Coaching in 2016 from Bellevue University. Personal: I spend my free time volunteering and fundraising for various causes. I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, home projects, reading, and learning new things. I would say my favorite personality traits are empowering and encouraging other people, being able to compromise and see a middle ground on subjects, and I am very charismatic. |
